Advanced manufacturing is defined as the rapid transfer of science and technology into the manufacture of products using high-level design skills. Technically skilled employees, especially those who are cross-trained for different positions, are in demand.

Agriculture Technology

Today’s farming and food production industries are diverse fields with a variety of career opportunities available. Farmers operate farms that produce crops, livestock and dairy products. Typical tasks include all steps of the crop production process, including planting, fertilizing, harvesting and herding.

Occupational Studies

Jackson College offers an Associate in Applied Science in Occupational Studies designed specifically for students who have completed an apprenticeship program and received a certificate of completion from the U.S. Department of Labor/Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training.

FINANCIAL AID

Jackson Colleges offers scholarships and financial aid to help students and their families seek, obtain, and make the best use of all financial resources available to reach their educational goals. Grants
By completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), students automatically apply for the major federal grant programs.

Loans
Almost all students qualify for loans, regardless of family income. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in at least six credit hours in an eligible program for financial aid.

Scholarships
Many students can qualify for scholarships, with opportunities for financial need, merit based, and for students with disabilities.

Work Study
Provides students with financial need the chance to work part-time jobs on campus to help pay for their education expenses.

Student Employment
Student employment is now open to all students where opportunities are available.
