The business administration program at Jackson College offers two associate degree options, a business management certificate, and business courses to prepare to transfer to a four-year university.
From sport management, to cybersecurity, the Business and Computer Technology Pathway includes careers related to all aspects of business and computer technology. These include eCommerce, entrepreneurship, computer information systems, cyber security, human resources, office administration, sports management and marketing.
To meet the ever-expanding demand for qualified health sciences professionals, Jackson College’s Health Sciences Pathway offers a wide array of associate degree and certificate programs as well as concentrations and skill sets. The perfect combination of classroom instruction, laboratory experience and clinical practice to assure that students obtain the most current and the highest-level skills in their chosen health profession.
Those interested in a career helping others would excel in the Human Services Pathway. The focus is on prevention as well as remediation of problems, with the main goal of improving the overall quality of life for others. Individuals in the human service field might find themselves in a variety of careers, including economic, political, and social systems.
Looking for a career where you can express your ideas? The Liberal Arts Pathway emphasizes self-expression through the humanities and performing, visual, literary, and media arts. It is an opportunity to show off your creative side, be imaginative, innovative, and original.
Whether looking at people, animals, plants, machines, buildings, the earth or the universe, students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Pathway (STEM) have an interest in understanding how the world works. There is high demand for all technical trades that involve specialized skills and creative thinking. The Professional Trades/Industry 4.0 & Agriculture Pathway helps prepare you for these high demand jobs with hands-on experience.
Grants
By completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), students automatically apply for the major federal grant programs.
Loans
Almost all students qualify for loans, regardless of family income. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in at least six credit hours in an eligible program for financial aid.
Scholarships
Many students can qualify for scholarships, with opportunities for financial need, merit based, and for students with disabilities.
Work Study
Provides students with financial need the chance to work part-time jobs on campus to help pay for their education expenses.
