Jackson College's Liberal Arts pathway will prepare you for a variety of careers. Find the program that meets your career goals and talk to an admissions representative to get started!

For the Liberal Arts pathway, there will be a landing page for the pathway itself that includes the list of the programs that is on the website, as well as a landing page specific to the English program. All formats will be the similar, with the same sections as the previously approved LP of financial aid and student life.

Students can get a quality education taught by dedicated instructors to learn skills for their desired career path. Flexible scheduling allows you to take liberal arts classes synchronously or asynchronously, online or in person. Multimedia designers and animators -- artists who create animation for video games and other media -- are in demand. Create special effects, animation, or other visual images using video, computers, film or other electronic media for use in computer games, movies, music videos and commercials.

Artists create art to communicate ideas, thoughts or feelings. They use a variety of methods: painting, sculpting or illustration and an assortment of materials including watercolors, acrylics, pastels, pencils, pen and ink, plaster, clay and computers.

Associate in Applied Science

The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree is a two-year undergraduate degree similar to the Associate of Arts (AA) and the Associate of Science (AS) degree. The AAS degree is designed for students who intend to enter the workforce immediately following graduation from their program.

The Communication Associate in Arts pre-baccalaureate degree is designed for students to transfer seamlessly to a baccalaureate institution and major in an area such as Mass Communication or Journalism. Communication students apply fundamental communication concepts by creating media content, crafting messages for business, government, and education organizations, and analyzing relationships between individuals and organizations.

Pre-law is a major often selected by students interested in pursuing careers in government or law. Lawyers advise and represent individuals, businesses, and government agencies on legal issues and disputes.

FINANCIAL AID

At Jackson College, total commitment to student success matters. No student should hesitate to apply to Jackson College because of financial circumstances. Jackson College offers scholarships and financial aid to help students and their families seek, obtain, and make the best use of all financial resources available to reach their educational goals. Grants  
By completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), students automatically apply for the major federal grant programs.

Loans
Almost all students qualify for loans, regardless of family income. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in at least six credit hours in an eligible program for financial aid.

Scholarships
Many students can qualify for scholarships, with opportunities for financial need, merit based, and for students with disabilities.

Work Study
Provides students with financial need the chance to work part-time jobs on campus to help pay for their education expenses.


Student Employment
Student employment is now open to all students where opportunities are available.
