The Human Services Pathway at Jackson College includes a variety of behavioral sciences programs, psychology programs, social worker programs and more. HUMAN SERVICES PROGRAM

Corrections

Corrections officers oversee individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or have been sentenced to time in jail or prison. They work to maintain order within jails or prisons, supervise activities of inmates, report on inmate conduct, help in rehabilitation or counseling of offenders.

Personnel in law enforcement perform a variety of services to help protect the public and maintain order. They may perform a variety of functions, including: patrol a specific area; direct traffic; issue traffic summonses; investigate accidents; or apprehend and arrest suspect.

Grants
By completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), students automatically apply for the major federal grant programs.

Loans
Almost all students qualify for loans, regardless of family income. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in at least six credit hours in an eligible program for financial aid.

Scholarships
Many students can qualify for scholarships, with opportunities for financial need, merit based, and for students with disabilities.

Work Study
Provides students with financial need the chance to work part-time jobs on campus to help pay for their education expenses.

Student Employment
Student employment is now open to all students where opportunities are available.
