Dental hygienists are licensed health professionals who provide preventive and therapeutic care in management of oral health. Some responsibilities include scaling and root debridement, impressions, preventative dental education, nutritional counseling, and more. In our dental hygiene program, students can become prepared to perform dental hygiene services in accordance with the Michigan state dental practice from a variety of dental hygiene courses.
