Jackson College’s computer support certificate program provides students with knowledge of necessary computer skills to become a computer support specialist. Our computer support program can prepare students for entry-level jobs or enhance their skill level to help with more complex issues.

Computer support specialists provide technical assistance, support and advice to individuals and organizations that depend on information technology. They work within organizations that use computer systems, for computer hardware or software vendors, or for third-party information technology (IT) organizations that provide support on a contract basis, such as help-desk service firms. Grants  
By completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), students automatically apply for the major federal grant programs.

Loans
Almost all students qualify for loans, regardless of family income. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in at least six credit hours in an eligible program for financial aid.

Scholarships
Many students can qualify for scholarships, with opportunities for financial need, merit based, and for students with disabilities.

Work Study
Provides students with financial need the chance to work part-time jobs on campus to help pay for their education expenses.

Student employment is now open to all students where opportunities are available.
